Tomas and the Library Lady

1. ORGANIZING Before Tomas meets the library lady, his grandfather is the storyteller. Why does this change after Tomas starts visiting the library?

2. ANALYZING How would you describe the library lady? What kind of person is she?

    1. Tomas' grandfather urges him to share the new stories Tomas has found in the library with his family. This makes Tomas the new family storyteller.

    2. The library lady is caring and trusting. She enjoys learning Spanish from Tomas.

    1.Ithink tomas becams a storyteller because he got new storys from the books he read.

    4.Tomas teaches her spanish words and she gives him free books to check out.

    2.The library is kind because on page 167 the library lady offered some water.

    4.Tomas learned how to imagine from the library lady and the library lady learned spanish from Tomas.

    1. the story teller changes when Tom'as goes to the libray and learns all new stories.

    2. the libray lady is nice and kind i know that because that is how tomas feels.

    1. the story started to change because tomas was bringing home books to read and his papa grande will say read to me tomas.

    4. i think that the library lady learned spanish from Tomas and Tomas learned english from the library lady.

    1. Before Tomas' went to the libray papa Grande was the story teller in the family. After Tomas' goes to the libray he is the story teller in the family.

    2. I would describe the libray lady as being very nice and kid to Tomas'. She is a good person.

    4.I think Tomas and the library lady both learnd somthing like the library lady learnd how to speak spanish from Tomas because on p.170 it said Tomas first said English first to the library lady then he said it in Spanish and Tomas learnd that the library was so much bigger than he thoght it was.

    3. when Tomas first sees the library he is amazed by every thing he sees like all the big window and all the people with books.

    2.the library lady is nice and caring.she is like a miss Newlin.she showed him respect.1.toma's starts going to the library he starts being a better story teller then papa grande.he starts reading good books.

    (1)Tom'as started going to the libary so he could read and tell the stories to his family.(2)The libary lady is very nice because every time tom'as came she help him.

    1.It changed that Tomases grandfather was the storyteller because Toams started going to the libary and reading so he could became the family story teller.He got the stories from the books he read at the at the libary.

    4.Tomas and the libary lady became friends.When they were friends Tomas taught her spanish.The libary lady taught him about books.

    3.Tomas felt surprised to see the library.Tomas saw library and he felt like the library lady would be mean.

    4.Tomas learns from the library lady that you can check out books from the library and the library lady learns from Tomas that you can speak spanish if you try hard and learn the terms.

    1.organizing tom'as knows good storys so he share them with his famly2.analyzing-If I was to decribe the library lady I would say she is nice and cool because she lets tom'as come in have some water from her library

    3.I tink Tomas feels suprisd when he got to the library becuase on page 166 Tomas stood at the front doorof the library. He siad it was huge!!Hee had never seenso meny books in his life he was so suprisd when the lady taped his sholder he jumped.

    4.Tomas was teaching the library lady spanish and he siad adios it means goodby and she was teaching him about the library.
