1. Mary can tell that Carrie and Laura are fidgeting. She hears the train first. She knows that the conductor is tall because his voice is high up.
ReplyDelete2. Ma seems nervous about the trip. When the train arrives, she takes tight hold of Grace and Carrie and sharply reminds Laura, twice, to lead Mary carefully.
5. I would rather ride the train than the wagan because if it is rainingit might have lighting or if it snows it would be cold and in the summer it would be hot and train just gives you the just right temerture.

5.If I were Laura,I would want to travel by horse and wagon because it might be fun siting in hay and sleeping on it.Also I could ride the horse.

If I was traveling during lauras time I would rather go on a train because a train is faster than a horse and it is faster than a wagon too.ma is feeling happy because it is her first time rideing a train too.

ReplyDelete4.i can summarize laura's train ride because her sister mary is telling her every thing that is going on around them like when the man was walking to the front of the train to get some water he turned a little handle on the wall and water came out of it and he had a tin cup.
